Okay being sick for a week was horrid! Sick in bed for 4 days, not being able to get out of bed, monster headaches, vomiting, no appetite sore throat, drinking so much water and peeing like a river ... yeah it was no fun at all!
But, and I am a dork for saying and I know it is silly ... I lost 10 lbs .... TEN POUNDS! Wahoo! Now that my stomach has shrunk so much, I am really watching what I eat, how much I eat and when I eat. My appetite is so small, I eat much less than Naima and she eats a whole breakfast! I can barely pass a piece of fruit and even then I don't know why I gag ... at least I am beginning to build up some appetite.

Yesterday, Wednesday was my day off. And boy did I need it. After being back at work for 2 days I was getting very tired and these headaches are coming in more often than ever before ... what gives? My first assumption is lack of sleep. Last few days I have been waking up at 4am! So I get into bed as early as I can, and fall asleep by 8pm. Then my headache wakes up with me ... ???? .... I feel like I 'm hungover!
I tried some of the home remedies to deal with it. Bathing in hot water, drinking cola.... etc. And then it hit me ... it's a hunger ache. I don't feel those horrible hunger pains in my stomach anymore ... it goes straight to my head ... ow!

So now I have to snack often through out the day so I don't get these migraines.


Naima and I made the gooeyest cookies ever! We had left over Halloween chocolates and just dumped them into the dough and voilà! Gooey cookies. We took some with us to a get together ... they flew off the dish .... Glad I saved some at home :-P



It is my Friday, I think I'll be working late but that's okay, Nathan will be cooking supper. He says he doesn't know how to cook but for the last few nights he has rocked my socks off. His meals are very delish and SOO much like a restaurant dish. It's ridiculous. So tasty, oh man, it's is delicious! So I asked him that he'd make supper from now on to give me a break. I love coming home to a cooked meal. Nice change for a while.

We hosted our first Halloween 'Eve' party (Oct. 30th) together and it was loads of fun! I was pleased and we plan to host one every year with a different theme.
This year, we went with a ghostly/ghoul theme.
